SHHE is the alias of Scottish-Portuguese artist, musician and producer Su Shaw

Influenced by environment and ecology, her artistic practice explores themes of identity and connection at the intersection between sound, space and liminal states. SHHE’s eponymous debut album was released by One Little Independent Records and was shortlisted for Scottish Album of the Year 2020.

Sound works, performances and sound installations have been presented at V&A Dundee co-commissioned by MSCTY Tokyo, Edinburgh Festival, Summerhall and Cryptic Nights/CCA, Dundee Botanic Gardens (Scotland), Hangar (Lisbon, PT), Rawabet (Cairo, EG), Jesuit Cultural Centre (Alexandria, EG), Tankur/Westfjords Residency (IS), Erbil Citadel (Kurdistan, IQ) and BFI and Sensoria’s FAMLAB (digital).
